The villagers are now more technologically advanced (somewhere around real life Iron Age). In the first game, Eden is depicted as a peaceful, paradise-like world, where villagers have no weapons and coexist peacefully with different tribes.Īt the end of Black & White, the player leaves Eden and returns after a long while to find that much has changed. Eden is also the place where gods struggle for dominance over the tribes. Eden is very similar to real-life planet Earth, orbiting one sun and having one moon.Įden is inhabited by humans and real-life animals, such as wolves, cows and horses, but it is also the home of the Creatures: powerful, near-divine beings and a central element of Black & White games. It is depicted in the opening cutscene as a planet located within one of the many universes. Eden is the fictional world where both Black & White games take place.
